Families First of Palm Beach County held their 7th Annual Children’s Day Luncheon at the Kravis Center in October 2013. The annual luncheon showcased the agency’s work over the previous year, and honored those that advocate for children. “We are overwhelmed by the support this year,” said Julie Swindler, LCSW, CEO of Families First of Palm Beach County. “With this help of the community we are able to continue serving those who need us within Palm Beach County.”

Dena Sisk Foman was honored by Families First of Palm Beach County with The Harriet Goldstein Award for making a difference in the lives of families in our community.

“The award from Families First was one the highest honors that could be bestowed upon me. Families first gives hope to people that struggle with circumstances similar to those I experienced and that many of my family members still experience. Organizations like Families First give people that want help a chance to get their lives on track to self sufficiency. Their work not only changes the lives of people they help directly, but improves our community overall. To be honored by such a worthwhile organization was a gift.” – Dena Sisk Foman
